Last year Jared Leto’s Joker made his debut in “Suicide Squad” and the character officially joined the DCEU. Joker is Batman’s greatest foe, and although Batman is featured heavily in the DCEU, we have yet to see the two iconic characters battle each other.

Jared Leto’s Joker has received a mixed response from fans, but regardless, there are still plenty of people out there who want to see a showdown between The Joker and Ben Affleck’s Batman. One of the people who clearly wants to see the two characters face off is Jared Leto himself.
Leto recently took to Instagram to share some fan art of Joker holding a knife to Batman’s throat, and it got fans talking.

Batman will return to the big screen in “Justice League” and eventually Ben Affleck’s Batman will be starring in his own film.
Perhaps we’ll get a proper Batman/Joker face off when Batman takes center stage in his own standalone movie. Until then all we can do is wait.
