“The Flash” season 2 has been riveting TV so far. The introduction of Earth-2 doppelgangers has added a whole new element to the show and it’s a welcome addition. But so far we’ve only seen characters from Earth-2 crossover to Earth-1. We’re all wondering if Team Flash or perhaps just The Flash himself might make the jump over to the over side and Grant Gustin who plays Barry Allen on the show seems to think it will happen.
“It sounds like we’re going to be making an Earth-Two trip in the future at some point this season. I don’t know which characters are going to be going. I’m pretty sure Barry will be one of them. I don’t know if we’re going to see his doppelgänger when we go over there. I’d imagine we would.” Grant Gustin told EW.
Of course we’re all dying to see Barry’s Earth-2 doppelganger. There’s a popular theory among fans who think that Barry’s Earth-2 doppelganger is actually Zoom. We’ll just have to wait and see how that theory plays out.
Jesse L. Martin who plays Joe West on the show also expressed some interest in seeing his Earth-2 doppelganger.
“Earth-Two Joe might have a little musical element to him,” Martin said.
The possibilities with the multiverse are endless and so far this season of “The Flash” has been moving full speed ahead. We don’t know about you guys, but we can’t wait to see what’s next.
