Fans were thrilled when it was recently announced that Superman would be appearing in “Supergirl” season 2. As soon as the announcement was made everyone started talking about who they would like to see put on the iconic suit and now the CW has revealed their casting choice.
EW broke the news earlier today that “Teen Wolf” star Tyler Hoechlin will be taking on the role and he will be appearing in the first two episodes of the season.
“Greg [Berlanti] and I have wanted to work with Tyler for ages, so this worked out perfectly because Tyler is Superman,” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg says. “We are so thrilled and humbled to add another amazing actor to the legacy of this iconic character.”
“Supergirl” will return for season 2 on the CW this fall.
