There are a lot of rumors surrounding the next Batman solo film. It’s rumored that Ben Affleck will both write and direct the film and a new report from JoBlo says we could be seeing some big fan favorites enter the DCEU.
According to their report, the next Batman solo film will focus heavily on Jason Todd, aka The Red Hood. The film will see Todd return to Gotham as he commits crimes from the shadows in an attempt to make Batman look like a criminal. Todd would also be leaving clues at each crime scene so that Batman can figure out his identity.
The film will also be bringing in Dick Grayson who will be Nightwing by this point in time. The Joker is also supposed to play a big part in the film with the movie building to a battle with Batman and Nightwing teaming up to deal with The Red Hood and The Joker. “Under The Red Hood” is a storyline that will be a big influence on the script. On top of that the report mentions that DC has big plans for Jason Todd.
