The first season of “Gotham” was a smash him among the fans. People seemed to love the massive cast of characters and it looks like they will have a few more to look forward to when season 2 rolls around in the fall.

Eric Goldman of IGN broke the news yesterday that both The Joker and Mr. Freeze will be appearing in the next season of “Gotham.”

The Joker was teased in the first season but next fall fans will be getting more than just a tease. It’s unknown in what form Batman’s iconic nemesis will appear but since this is an origin story, it’s likely he will be a younger version of himself.

Mr. Freeze will also enter the mix and we can only hope that he delivers some Arnold Schwarzenegger worthy one liners.
