The DCEU has been met with mixed reviews so far, with only “Wonder Woman” winning over the majority of fans and critics. Now “Justice League” is set to expand the film universe once again this week, and the embargo on reviews has finally been lifted.
Even though the review embargo has been lifted, Rotten Tomatoes held off on releasing the score for the film as it’s set to be officially announced on their Facebook show, “See It/Skip It.”
But since this is the internet and nothing is sacred, the score has surfaced online thanks to an app called Flixter via Fast Company, and it’s been revealed that “Justice League” currently has a 48% on the Tomatometer.
Originally the score was set to be revealed tomorrow, and the fact that Warner Bros. held off on the review embargo for so long had some fans worried.
The movie is getting mixed reviews, but the general consensus seems to be that the story is thin, the villain is weak, but the heroes deliver.
So if you’re going to see “Justice League” this weekend and are looking forward to seeing some big moments from the heroes in the film, then you likely won’t be disappointed in that regard.
“Justice League” arrives in theaters on November 17, 2017.
“Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists newfound ally Diana Prince to face an even greater threat. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to recruit a team to stand against this newly awakened enemy. Despite the formation of an unprecedented league of heroes — Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash — it may be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.”
