Fans met Katie Cassidy’s “Black Siren” in “The Flash” season 2, and now she’s a series regular on “Arrow.” Black Siren has been a thorn in the side of Team Arrow ever since she aligned herself with Adrian Chase in season 5, and she’s only become more dangerous in season 6.
Still, despite the fact that Black Siren has done some pretty awful things to the members of Team Arrow, Stephen Amell recently told ScreenRant that Oliver still believes she can be redeemed.
“It hasn’t really changed since where we last saw them. Oliver and she didn’t really interact toward the last part of [season 5] even though she was a critical part of Chase’s team. But it’s more where we left it in [season 5, episode 10] which is we’re not throwing her in prison; we’re going to keep her close and we’re going to see if there’s any bit of Laurel in there — let’s try to find it. I think that [Oliver] still feels that way despite the fact that she’s doing some pretty gnarly stuff this year.”
We’ll be seeing a lot of more of Black Siren in this week’s episode, as she’s set to wreak havoc on Star City after Oliver Queen is arrested.
“Thanksgiving” will air Thursday on the CW.
