We’re a little bit less than a year away from the release of “Justice League” and anticipation for the film is at an all time high. The movie is loaded with huge stars who will be playing iconic characters such as Batman, Superman, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, The Flash and Cyborg.
When the cast of characters was first announced, many fans were disappointed to see that Green Lantern was not a part of the lineup. Although Green Lantern hasn’t been officially announced for the film, it looks like fans may be seeing an appearance from a member of the Green Lantern Corps. after all.
The Wrap is reporting that, “A member of the Green Lantern Corps. will be seen in “Justice League” in a key sequence.”
Warner Bros. has yet to make any casting announcements regarding which member of the Green Lantern Corps. will be appearing, and/or who will be playing the character. The studio has announced that a Green Lantern Corps. movie is scheduled to be released in 2020, but once again, no casting announcements have been made in regards to the film.
There are certainly some fan favorites out there in Hollywood who fans would like to see in the mix, but we’ll just have to wait and see how this all goes down.
“Justice League” is set to be released on November 17, 2017.
