The Reverse-Flash is returning this season on “The Flash.” But it won’t be Tom Cavanugh’s, Eobard Thawne who inhabited the body of Harrison Wells. This time around we’re going to be seeing more of Eobard Thawne in his own body played by actor Matt Letscher.
“His impossible return to Central City puts a member of the S.T.A.R. Labs team in unexpected danger, forcing Barry to make a life-changing decision.” Executive producer Todd Helbing told EW.
It should be interesting see how this plays out because at the end of season 1 Eobard Thawne was erased from existence on Earth-1 when Eddie Thawne killed himself. Could we be seeing the Eobard Thawne of Earth-2 this time around, or do “The Flash” writers have something else up their sleeves? We’ll have to wait a few weeks to find out.
“The Flash” returns on January 19th and Letscher is set to appear in the 11th episode of season 2 titled “The Reverse-Flash Returns.”
