DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” recently premiered on the CW and it’s getting rave reviews from the fans. The show kicked off with a massive two part pilot and some shocking moves were made along the way.

Perhaps the most shocking move that was made during the two part pilot was the decision to kill of Hawkman so early in the game. Hawkman was killed by Vandal Savage, but seeing as how Hawkman is constantly reincarnated and the show deals with time travel, fans figured they hadn’t seen the last of the character. Showrunner Phil Klemmer recently confirmed those suspicions to TV Guide telling them that Hawkman will be back.
“The tragedy is [Kendra] just came to believe what he was saying was true — the fact that they were destined to fall in love in this life and every life that has preceded it. That happened on the eve of Vandal killing him. What we’re going to explore in our show is her gradually remembering all the lives they had together in various time periods and how they inform this life, how everything she’s learned in her 208 deaths will give her the strength and power and knowledge on how to not fail this time, when she will ultimately confront Vandal Savage.” Klemmer said.
That quote right there confirms that Hawkman will still have a presence on the show thanks to Kendra’s memories and flashbacks. Klemmer also hints that Kendra will be moving on and seeking out romance on the show with someone other than Carter.
DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” airs Thursdays at 8pm EST on the CW.
