Kevin Smith is hard at work directing an episode of “The Flash” that will air during season 2, and it looks like he ran into an old friend on the set. Smith posted a picture of himself with a familiar face and that face belongs to none other than Jason Mewes, know to fans as Jay of the infamous Jay and Silent Bob duo.
Today is Day 3 of 8 on my episode of @CW_TheFlash! Went for coffee at #CCJitters & found losers loitering outside… pic.twitter.com/Ap8Jdcb8Ps

The picture shows Jay and Silent Bob loitering and loitering is what Jay and Silent Bob do so that’s not suspicious. But what is suspicious is the fact that these two are loitering outside of Central City Jitters. The picture certainly seems to be teasing an appearance from Jay and Silent Bob on “The Flash.” But it looks like we’re going to have to wait until the episode airs before we know for sure whether or not the duo made their way into theĀ Arrowverse.
Smith also teased that he was considering swapping out Silent Bob’s hat for Jay Garrick’s hat, so let’s hope that happens.
Thinking of changing out my backwards baseball cap for this stylish piece of head gear. #SilentBob AS Jay (Garrick). pic.twitter.com/kjuifXCW0b
