Fans were thrilled when it was recently announced that Wally West would be appearing in “The Flash” season 2. They were even more thrilled when Keiynan Lonsdale was cast in the role. Lonsdale recently spoke to The Wrap about his role as Wally West and you can see what he had to say below.
“They haven’t even told me the exact details yet in terms of the relation to Iris or how exactly Wally is going to be connected into the storyline and how he’ll weave through the different storylines, so I’m not really sure. But I’m sure I’ll find out soon. It’s going to be a hard secret to keep!” Told The Wrap.
Wally West is typically portrayed as the nephew of Iris West but it remains to be seen if that’s the route the show is going to take. It seems that not much is known about how Wally will be integrated into the show but seeing as how the show runners are pretty open with the fans we’re willing to bet we’ll get some juicy details sooner than later.
“The Flash” returns on October 6th.
