Keiynan Lonsdale will be making his debut as Wally West on “The Flash” tonight but we still have a lot of questions about how the character will fit into the show. Lonsdale recently spoke to Blastr about what we can expect from Wally and he says that Wally is just a “regular kid” at this point. Keinyan told Blastr that Wally West isn’t Kid Flash when we meet him but he is into drag racing.
Wally will be meeting his estranged father Joe and estranged sister Iris when he’s introduced to the show. But as far as his relationship with Barry Allen goes however, it doesn’t look like that’s going to get off to a smooth start.
I will say, it’s not an easy relationship. You might see some sibling rivalry develop, because he’s stepping into a family he doesn’t know, and he has a father and sister he doesn’t know. But they have someone else, where Wally feels he should be, in Barry’s position, because Barry is already in their family and has their love.
“Personally I’d love to be him working side by side with Barry Allen, with The Flash. To me, that’d be the most exciting kind of thing, to see that. There’s so much to love about Wally West and Barry Allen, and it would be cool to have a partner in crime, or really the opposite, to defeat crime [laughs]. That’s what I want, to see what kind of craziness they can get into together.” Lonsdale said.
But not all hope is lost. Keiynan also said that long term he hopes to see a Wally and Barry team up in the future.

It sounds like things are going to get off to a rocky start between Barry and Wally. But the thought of seeing the two speedsters team up is exciting. The question is, when are we going to see it?
