Wally West fans will be happy to hear that Keiynan Lonsdale will be bringing the character to life in season 2 of “The Flash.” It was announced earlier today and you can read the official character description below.
“Keiynan Lonsdale will be joining ‘The Flash’ this winter in the role of Wally West, an iconic character from The Flash Universe who became the speedster known as Kid Flash.”
Seems like Andrew Kreisberg feels as though they’ve found the perfect fit for the role.
“Just like when we met Grant for the first time, we instantly knew Keiynan embodied all the heart and courage of a hero. We are so excited to be bringing this much-beloved character onto the show.” “The Flash” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said.
Wally West joins Jay Garrick and Zoom as the new speedsters that will be joining “The Flash” next season. “The Flash” returns to the CW on Tuesday, October 6th.
