Everybody’s favorite girl across the hall, “The Big Bang Theory” star Kaley Cuoco is getting divorced from her husband of 21 months, Ryan Sweeting. The announcement comes ironically a few days after the season 9 premiere of the show aired which featured her character Penny getting married to co-star and former boyfriend Johnny Galecki’s character Leonard.
There aren’t too many details about what caused the couple to call it quits. But a representative for Kaley Cuoco did release the following brief statement to People Magazine:
“Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting have mutually decided to end their marriage. They ask for privacy at this time. No further statement will be issued regarding this matter.”
Looks like Kaley just needs to find the Leonard to her Penny.
