DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” is all about time travel. The legends have traveled to the 70s, the 80s and recently they traveled to Star City in the year 2046. In 2046 they encountered a version of Connor Hawke who was the son of John Diggle. Connor was a big hit with the fans and many people are hoping to see more of him in the future.
According to Joseph David Jones, the actor who played Connor in “Star City 2046”, there’s a chance he could return. He recently spoke to Comicbook.com and revealed that the writers are working on a way to bring him back.
“I know that a couple of the writers are trying to push to get me back in there, because they really do like what happened with the episode. I know that they’re trying to put me back in there but I don’t know what they’re going to come up with or what even is going to happen with Connor Hawke, but I know they’ve been talking about potential different outcomes of it because they are planning on cycling out some of the cast from the ship. So I don’t know what’s going to happen, or if that timeline is still set until they actually do go back to the past.” Jones said.
As you probably noticed in the quote above, David also mentioned that the writers want to cycle out some of the cast. It was rumored months ago that the showrunners had plans to switch up the cast and the mission each season. John Constantine was also rumored as a character who could join the series next season.
