It was announced a few months ago that Johnathon Schaech had been cast in the role of Jonah Hex, and that he would be making an appearance on DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow.” Now the CW has released the official synopsis for an upcoming episode titled “The Magnificent Eight” which will feature the debut of Jonah Hex in the Arrowverse.
The synopsis for the episode reads as follows:
“When the team needs a place to hide out, Rip (Arthur Darvill) sets a course for the Old West. Upon arrival, they start a fight with a gang of outlaws, putting the small town in jeopardy. Luckily, an old friend of Rip’s, Jonah Hex (guest star Johnathon Schaech), steps in to save them.”
DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” is currently on a little break. The show will return next Thursday with the episode “Left Behind” on March 31. “The Magnificent Eight” is scheduled to air on the CW on April 13 at 8pm EST.
Johnathon Schaech has been hyping up the appearance on his Instagram page for months now. He’s been keeping fans updated on what’s going on and one of his most recent photos indicates that Jonah Hex will be stepping onboard the Waverider in “The Magnificent Eight.”
