The first “Iron Man” kicked off the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a big way. The film was a hit for Marvel Studios, and a lot of the credit for the movie’s success goes to director Jon Favreau.
Favreau directed the first two Iron Man films and he also played the character of Happy Hogan in each of the Iron Man films that have been released so far. Fans haven’t seen Happy Hogan on screen since “Iron Man 3” but Happy will be making his return to the MCU next summer.
It’s already been confirmed that Robert Downey Jr. will be reprising his role as Tony Stark in “Spider-Man: Homecoming” and now Variety is reporting that Happy Hogan will be coming with him.
“Spider-Man: Homecoming” is currently filming in Atlanta and according to the report Jon Favreau has signed on to play Happy Hogan once again. As of this time Marvel has not commented on the report.
Plot details surrounding the film are still being kept quiet, so it will be interesting to see how Happy, and Tony Stark for that matter fit into the film.
In any case, it will be nice to see Happy’s super intimidating face next to Tony Stark’s once again.
