Hugh Jackman recently wrapped up filming for “Wolverine 3” and Jackman has confirmed that he has officially put the claws away. Hugh is done playing Wolverine, and when he wrapped up, he posted a symbolic video of Wolverine’s mutton chops being shaved off of his face for the last time.
“Wolverine 3” is set to hit theaters next year, and it seems likely that the search for a new Wolverine will begin any day now, because the Wolverine character is pretty much a license to print money for FOX.
Everyone’s trying to figure out who the next Wolverine will be, and as far as the fans are concerned, it seems like Tom Hardy is a crowd favorite. But over the weekend at Heroes & Villains Fan Fest another actor revealed that he would love to play Wolverine.
Johnathon Schaech, who DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” fans will recognize as Jonah Hex, revealed that he would love to put on the claws.

It remains to be seen Schaech will get the chance to play Wolverine, but it’s been confirmed that he will return as Jonah Hex in DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” season 2 which will premiere on Thursday, October 13.
