“The Flash” is currently on its third season and if you’ve been keeping up with the show so far then you’re probably well aware that every season has its own version of Harrison Wells.
In the first season Harrison Wells actually turned out to be Eobard Thawne inhabiting the body of Harrison Wells, and in season 2 the team recruited Harry Wells of Earth-2.
This time around the team is stuck with HR Wells of Earth-19 and unfortunately he’s not quite as helpful as his two previous counterparts. However, the members of Team Flash have learned to embrace him.
This week’s episode of The Flash is one of the most anticipated episodes of the season because the team will be traveling to Gorilla City to try and rescue Harry Wells. Carlos Valdes who plays Cisco on the show recently spoke to EW and he hyped up the fact that Harry and HR share some entertaining scenes together.
“There’s an episode coming up that has a lot of Harry-HR interplay, and it’s not just entertaining for the audience, but it’s also entertaining for me to watch Tom Cavanagh play two different characters, literally shoulder to shoulder with me, and me having to play with both of these figures,” Valdes says. “It’s one of those moments where you have to step back, not just as an actor, but also as a character, and say, ‘This is weird, right? This is weird.'”
Most fans seem to agree that regardless of the incarnation, Harrison Wells is one of the most entertaining characters in the show, so it should be interesting to see HR and Harry work together.
