The Star Wars franchise returned to movie theaters last year, and it returned in a big way with “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” The movie was a big success with fans and critics, and it was also a big success at the box office. This year Lucasfilm is keeping the Star Wars momentum going with “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” and the film is expected to make upwards of $150 million before the weekend is through.
Earlier this week “Rogue One” hit theaters, and the general consensus among Star Wars fans is that the film is another solid entry for the franchise. Although there’s still a long way to go before the film’s legacy can be determined, it’s already clear early on that “Rogue One” has its fair share of fans, one of which is Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill.
Mark Hamill happens to know a thing or two about Star Wars, and he took to Twitter to voice his opinion on “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” after he saw the film.
Hamill had nothing but good things to say about “Rogue One” and he specifically praised the casting.

“Rogue One” is in theaters now, and Mark Hamill will reprise his role as Luke Skywalker when “Star Wars: Episode VIII” hits theaters on December 15, 2017.
