Fox has announced that “Gotham” will be sticking around on Monday nights and returning for a third season this fall. The announcement came via Ben McKenzie who plays Jim Gordon on the show.

“Gotham” is just one of several comic book shows that was recently picked up for a new season. The CW confirmed last week that “Arrow,” “The Flash” and “Legends of Tomorrow” will all be returning. CBS confirmed “Supergirl” is getting a second season and ABC also announced “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” is getting a fourth season.
