A few months ago there was a rumor going around saying Fox was trying to develop a X-Men TV series. Fox co-chairman Dana Walden confirmed those rumors recently at Television Critics Association summer press tour in Beverly Hills.
“We’re in negotiations with Marvel. We’re hopeful that we’ll be able to announce something soon. It’s something we’re definitely pursuing.” Walden told reporters.
He also mentioned that we shouldn’t expect to see any characters from the Marvel/Disney roster.
“The characters from the X-Men franchise are with Fox on the feature [films] side, so we won’t be including Marvel charcters that are at ABC with Disney.” he added.
He also mentioned that it would be a “long running series” and not a limited run. Would you like to see a X-Men TV series? What characters would you like to see on the small screen?
