We’ll be seeing several new villains appear on “The Flash” next season and it was recently revealed that Savitar and Dr. Alchemy will be the two big bads. We’ll be seeing appearances from many other villains throughout the season and it looks like one of the villains we’ll be seeing is The Top.
E! News is reporting that “Awkward” star Ashley Rickards has been cast as Rosalind “Rosa” Dillon a.k.a. The Top. It looks like this will be a new spin on the character as the comic version is a male named Roscoe Dillon.
Ashley will be making an appearance in the fourth episode of season 3 and the episode is an origin story for Mirror Master who will be played by Grey Damon. The Top is being described as the Bonnie to Mirror Master’s Clyde.
The fourth episode of the season will also feature the return of Wentworth Miller as Captain Cold.
“It’s kind of the origin of Mirror Master…We’re really excited,” executive producer Aaron Helbing said. “It’s the origin story of him, but it’s this struggle between Mirror Master and Captain Cold and you get to see who comes out on top,” added Todd Helbing.
“The Flash” will return for season 3 on Tuesday October 4th.
