We’ve already seen some shots of Elektra from the teaser trailer for “Daredevil” season 2 and over the past few months a few low resolution photos of her have hit the Internet. But today Entertainment Weekly has released the first official photo of Elektra from “Daredevil” season 2 and Elodie Yung looks to be a perfect fit for the role.

According to showrunner Doug Petrie, Elektra will be tapping into Matt Murdock’s wild side over the course of season 2.
“Matt’s a deeply moral complicated guy and she’s just the best bad girlfriend you can possibly have. She does everything wrong and attractive, she’s his id, the wild side. Matt is always taming his wild side. Elektra just lets it out. He’s both repulsed and deeply drawn to that.” Doug Petrie told EW.
So far today we’ve seen our first official photo of The Punisher and our first official photo of Elektra. Hopefully more surprises are on the way.
