When Laurel Lance was killed off in “Arrow” season 4, fans were worried that they had seen the last of the Black Canary on the show. However, before Laurel passed away, she made Oliver promise to recruit a new Black Canary, and in season 5 he made good on that promise.

Oliver ended up recruiting Dinah Drake, and she became a full fledged member of Team Arrow. It looks like we’ll be seeing a lot more of Dinah in “Arrow” season 6 as she signed on to become a series regular, and in the season 5 finale Quentin Lance gave her his blessing to become the Black Canary.
Dinah will be suiting up as the Black Canary in season 6, and EW recently revealed the first look at her new suit. Check it out below.

Oliver has finally solidified and strengthened his crime-fighting team only to have it threatened when unexpected enemies from his past return to Star City, forcing Oliver to rethink his relationship with each member of his “family”.
