To say that things are going well for superhero TV shows would be an understatement. Producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg have done wonders with The Flash and Arrow and now they’re looking to create another hit with Supergirl on CBS.
The show began filming yesterday and the first photos of lead actress Melissa Benoist in the Supergirl suit have been released online. Check it out below.

The costume was designed by Collen Atwood who also designed costumes for Arrow and The Flash. Production for Supergirl is in flight at the moment and the show will be premiering on CBS later this year.
