“The Flash” season 4 has been a fun ride so far, and the show has introduced some interesting new villains along the way. “The Flash” is a show that’s always introducing new villains, so we can expect to see more new faces when the series returns from break next week.
That Hashtag Show has released a character breakdown for the DC Comics character Hyrax who is set to appear on the show. The character breakdown reads as follows:
[VERONICA DALE] Mid 20s-30s. Female, an Environmental Activist (back when she was still sane) turned Animal Liberator turned Domestic Terrorist, who’s the leader of the Eden Corps — a cult-like organization that proposes to turn back the clock to a pre-industrial age — and if millions of innocent people have to die in the process, well, that’s just tough…LARGE PRINCIPAL”
Hyrax original appeared in the Green Arrow comics as an eco-terrorist and the leader of Eden Corps, and she even developed a romantic relationship with Oliver Queen. It was noted that the fact the role is being classified as “large principal” appears that the writers may have big plans for the character in the back half of the season.
“The Flash” will return on Tuesday, January 16.
“BARRY FIGHTS FOR HIS LIFE — As Barry’s (Grant Gustin) trial for the murder of Clifford DeVoe begins, Iris (Candice Patton) and Joe (Jesse L. Martin) must decide how far they are willing to go to keep Barry out of prison. Philip Chipera directed the episode written by Lauren Certo & Kristen Kim (#410).”
