“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” is set to hit theaters later this year, and Lucasfilm has just released an epic trailer showing off a few minutes of new footage from the film.
“Rogue One” takes place between “Revenge of the Sith” and “A New Hope” when the Empire was at its strongest. The film will focus on the creation of the Death Star, and the new trailer shows several shots of Mads Mikkelsen as Galen Erso who will be vital to Empire’s plans for the super weapon.
The trailer also helps fans get to know the new characters a little bit better as there are some new shots of Jyn Erso and her team of rebels coming together. On the flip side we also get to see some key figures from the Empire, including Darth Vader.
