Marvel’s “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” returned in a big way this week with Daisy on the run, and Ghost Rider out for vengeance.
Daisy doesn’t seem to be in a very good place right now, as she’s injured, she’s isolated, and she made it clear in the season premiere that she was ready to die. Chloe Bennet recently spoke to EW and she indicated that things are only going to get worse for Daisy.
“I actually don’t think that was rock bottom,” Chloe Bennet revealed. “She was getting on the elevator that takes her to rock bottom. Over the past couple of months, it’s been so much pain that she almost doesn’t feel it anymore. Her distancing herself from the team and from S.H.I.E.L.D. is her way of — you see in episode 2 — she doesn’t want to be doing this. Deep, deep down, she’s in so much pain from keeping herself from the people she cares about, but she also feels like if she gets close to people, someone gets hurt.”
Quake and Ghost Rider battled in the season premiere, and it looks like Daisy is going to be a thorn in Robbie’s side.
