The CW is wasting no time when it comes to promoting “Supergirl.” The network is hyping up her big move and earlier this morning CW head Mark Hedowitz confirmed that “Supergirl” will be crossing over with “Arrow,” “The Flash” and “Legends of Tomorrow” later this year.
“Just imagine what our superhero crossover episode is going to look like come December,” Pedowitz said during a conference call. He also referenced the crossover as “the biggest one ever.”
Supergirl joining the “Arrowverse” seemed inevitable but it’s just cool to have confirmation that it’s actually going to happen. “Supergirl” may be making the move from CBS to the CW, but Pedowitz said he doesn’t feel the change is going to impact the tone, and that he thinks “Supergirl” should have been on the CW the whole time.
Barry Allen of course has already met Kara Danvers as he traveled to her world during a crossover episode earlier this year. The CW’s latest teaser for “Supergirl” features footage from the crossover as well as a shot of Supergirl with the CW logo on her chest.
The CW has also released a teaser showing footage from all four of the DC shows and you can check that one out below.
