Thea might not want to get too close to her new love interest because Roy Harper is returning to “Arrow.” Colton Haynes confirmed the news via Twitter that he’s in Vancouver and ready to start filming.

As you can imagine, everyone is thrilled to have him back and that includes Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim.
“We are beyond thrilled that Colton will be returning to Arrow this season. It was always our intention to have him return following his departure last season, but it was a matter of finding the right story line to pull it off. That opportunity presented itself in episode 412 and we can’t wait for the fans to see this reunion.” Marc Guggeinheim told EW.
When we last saw Roy he had left Star City to start his life over and he left Thea Queen with his Arsenal gear. Details are slim on his return but according to the quote above he’ll be in episode 12 of season 4 so it should be interesting to see how it plays out and how he reacts to the new Thea.
