Things have been going very well for Marvel and Netflix as of late. “Daredevil” is a hit, “Jessica Jones” is a hit and eventually Luke Cage and Iron Fist will join those characters to form The Defenders. Netflix also recently announced that The Punisher is getting his own series as well. Netflix is loaded up with Marvel characters at the moment and according to a new report from MovieCreedLive three more characters will be brought into the fold.
According to MovieCreedLive’s sources Blade, Moon Knight and Ghost Rider will be joining the Netflix lineup. No other information is available at this time so it’s not yet known how the characters would be worked in to the MCU.
Blade has had some success on the big screen and he’s the only one of the three characters that has had his own live action TV show so far. Unfortunately for Blade the TV show wasn’t on TV all that long. Ghost Rider has also had some success on the big screen with Nicolas Cage playing the title character in two different films.
It should be interesting to see how these characters fit into the bigger picture and it should also be interesting to see which actors end up landing these roles if these characters do indeed come to Netflix.
