It’s crazy to think how far the “Arrowverse” has come over the last few years. What started with “Arrow” has expanded into an entire universe filled with heroes, villains and everything in between. All the shows in the “Arrowverse” have introduced us to some interesting characters, and it sounds like we’ll be seeing a new take on some of those characters in the near future.
Executive producer Marc Guggenheim was recently a guest on EW‘s SiriusXM radio show Superhero Insider, and he teased that we’ll be seeing a character from one of the other shows pop up on “Legends” and it will be a version of the character that we’ve never seen before.
“We, just yesterday, made an offer to an actor to reprise their role from one of the other shows in the season finale of Legends,” Guggenheim teased. “Oh, and in the penultimate episode we’re gonna have — I can’t be specific about this, but it’s one of the most fun things I think we’ve ever done on the show — a character from one of the other shows on Legends in a way that you’ve never seen before, you may never see again, but will, I think, just send fans into squeals of joy.”
Guggenheim also confirmed that we will be seeing Black Flash on “Legends of Tomorrow.” At this point in time it’s not clear if Teddy Sears will be returning, as he’s tied up with “24: Legacy.”
Regardless of who ends up playing Black Flash, it should be interesting to see how he fits into the show as the Legends already have their hands full with the Legion of Doom.
DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” will return next week with “Legion of Doom.”
TAKING RISKS — The Legends are determined to find and rescue Rip (Arthur Darvill), but first must focus on locating the Spear of Destiny. Stein (Victor Garber) thinks he has the perfect person to help but knows involving her will be risky. Meanwhile, Malcom Merlyn (guest star John Barrowman) and Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough) realize that Thawne (guest star Matt Letscher) is pitting them against each other. Caity Lotz, Brandon Routh, Dominic Purcell, Nick Zano, Franz Drameh and Maisie Richardson-Sellers also star. Eric Laneuville directed the episode written by Phil Klemmer & Marc Guggenheim.
