This week’s episode of “Arrow” was titled “Human Target” and it featured the debut of Christopher Chance, as well as some other surprises along the way.
Last week on “Arrow” Wild Dog was captured by Tobias Church, and when we caught up with Wild Dog in this week’s episode, he was being tortured. Church attempted to get information from Wild Dog, but Wild Dog wouldn’t budge.
Later in the episode Green Arrow caught up with Wild Dog in the woods as he was digging his own grave, and he saved him from Church. Wild Dog confessed to Oliver that he cracked under the pressure, and told Church that Oliver is the Green Arrow.
Church was confronted by Prometheus who told him to stay away from the Green Arrow. Prometheus told him that this was his second warning, and he wouldn’t get another warning.
Tobias Church then hired an assassin to shoot Oliver Queen outside of City Hall, and Oliver was later pronounced dead.
Back at the Arrow lair, it was revealed that Christopher Chance, aka Human Target, merely posed as Oliver Queen as a decoy.
Oliver and Team Arrow then went after Tobias Church, and the Green Arrow defeated Church, and handed him over to the police.
Oliver Queen then revealed to the city that he’s not really dead, and he was working closely with the ACU to bring down Church.
At the end of the episode Tobias Church was being transported to jail, and he looked terrified. The police convoy he was in was attacked, and all of the police were killed. Someone then opened the door of the armored truck that Church was in, and it turned out to be Prometheus.
Church told Prometheus that he knew they would having this conversation. He revealed to Prometheus that the Green Arrow is Oliver Queen in hopes that he would be set free. Prometheus then threw what appeared to be a ninja star into Church’s neck, and Church died as the episode ended.
