When we last left Felicity Smoak in the “Arrow” mid-season finale she was hospitalized after being shot by one of Damien Darhk’s men. Felicity’s fate hangs in the balance and a popular theory is going around the Internet right now. Many fans are talking about the possibility of Felicity becoming the beloved Batman character Oracle. Some fans love the idea, while others hate it.
No matter how you feel about the possibility of Felicity Smoak becoming Oracle, you can put those feelings to rest. Executive Producer Wendy Mericle confirmed to TV Line that Felicity Smoak will not become Oracle.
“That’s something we definitely talked about [doing] with Felicity in the beginning…. But yeah, it will not be Oracle, sadly,” Mericle told TVLine. “People have to tune in to see what happens.”
“Arrow” returns with new episodes on January 20th.
