Last week on DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” the Waverider crash landed somewhere in time. The group got out of the ship to discover that they had landed in Star City in the year 2046. Right away you could tell that Star City had gone to hell because it looked awful and just about everything was on fire. According to Caity Lotz who plays Sara Lance on the show, Star City is now the place to be for criminals. Not that it wasn’t before.
“It’s not a very happy place. It’s a Disneyland for criminals, so I don’t think Rory and Snart mind it too much.” Lotz told TV Line.
She also made an in character comment about how Star City wouldn’t have turned out so bad if she had been around to help. It was also added by Ray Palmer that what they see is only a possible future and that it can be changed.
Newcomer Arthur Darvill recently joined the Arrowverse for DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” as Rip Hunter. Darvill may be new to this world but he’s already shown an appreciation for how everything links together. According to him “Star City 2046” will have a different feel from the other episodes we’ve seen this season.
“one of the first episodes that felt like we were shooting a big movie. There are a couple of really good fights in it, and there are some big, big set pieces that up the scale of the show. It has a very different feel than the rest of the season.” Darvill said.
Well so far DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” has not disappointed and “Star City 2046” looks like it could be the best episode yet. We’re getting future Oliver Queen, Connor Hawke, someone in a Deathstroke costume and on top of that, a romance is blooming.
“Sparks of a sort start to happen for Ray. All relationships are complicated!” Brandon Routh revealed.
Who could Ray’s new love interest be? Sound off in the comments below.
