It’s been months since Cody Rhodes parted ways with WWE and the former Intercontinental Champion has been keeping busy ever since. In addition to booking matches on the independent scene against legends such as Kurt Angle, Cody also managed to land a role on the show “Arrow.”
Last summer Cody Rhodes had a high profile feud with “Arrow” star Stephen Amell which culminated in a match at SummerSlam. Now Cody is traveling to Stephen’s turf as it’s been confirmed that he will be making an appearance on the show in season 5.
At this point it’s not yet known who Cody is playing, but he’s been posting teasers online that indicate he’ll be playing a villain on the show. Production for “Arrow” season 5 recently kicked off and Cody has been training hard to get ready for his appearance.
Fans of “Arrow” are well aware that one of Oliver Queen’s favorite things to do is workout using the salmon ladder. Cody Rhodes recently posted a video of himself using the salmon ladder and at the end it shows his custom jacket that says “Destroy Queen.”

“Arrow” is set to return on the CW on Wednesday October 5th.
