Fair warning, this post contains spoilers for the first two parts of the “Arrowverse” crossover “Crisis On Earth-X.”
On Monday night the “Arrowverse” crossover kicked off with a bang, actually quite a few bangs, as the heroes of the “Arrowverse” went toe to toe with their evil doppelgangers from Earth-X.
After a gang of Nazis invaded the West-Allen wedding, Green Arrow, Supergirl and The Flash later tracked down Dark Arrow, Overgirl and Dark Flash.
During the confrontation the villains revealed their identities to the heroes as Dark Arrow and Overgirl turned out to be Oliver and Kara’s doppelgangers respectively, and Dark Flash turned out to be Eobard Thawne from Earth-1 inhabiting the body of Harrison Wells from Earth-X.
Green Arrow, Supergirl and The Flash told them to go back to their Earth, and Dark Arrow said his allegiance is to the Fatherland, and his wife, Overgirl, then the battle kicked off.
Oliver pointed an arrow at Overgirl and she said, “What do you think that’s going to do? Bullets bounce off of me.”
“This arrow won’t,” he replied.
Oliver then shot the Arrow at Overgirl and the casing on the tip broke off to reveal it was a kryptonite arrow, and it penetrated the skin of Overgirl.
Supergirl then asked Green Arrow why he has a kryptonite arrow, and he said, “Incase an evil you ever showed up.”
With Overgirl weakened, the villains retreated.
