Just a fair warning, this post contain major spoilers for the “Arrowverse” crossover, “Crisis On Earth-X.”
“Crisis On Earth-X” kicked off on Monday night with “Supergirl” and “Arrow” and the crossover kicked off with a bang. There were quite a few huge bombshells that were dropped in the first two episodes, and one of them had to do with Prometheus-X.
In the crossover, the Dark Arrow of Earth-X and Prometheus-X weren’t enemies. They were allies and they fought side by side during the invasion of Earth-1.
Unfortunately for Team Earth-X, Prometheus-X was captured and locked away in S.T.A.R. Labs.
When Prometheus-X unmasked it turned out to be Tommy Merlyn from Earth-X. Felicity explained to everyone else that Tommy died 4 years ago on Earth-1.
Oliver then explained that he was Thea’s other brother, and his best friend. Tommy smiled as he looked at a confused Oliver, and Oliver asked for a moment alone with him.
Tommy explained that he was born into the Reich, and all of Earth-X is controlled by the Fatherland, and that he grew up without a choice.
Oliver asked him to help him find the others from Earth-X. Tommy said on Earth-X he’s his best friend and he would have died for him. Oliver said when he lost Tommy on Earth-1 it was like losing a limb because he was his brother.
Oliver said that he believes Tommy can be a good man, but he said if he talks the Fuhrer from Earth-X will kill everyone he loves. Oliver promised he would keep him safe, but Tommy said Oliver is a special kind of idiot, and then he turned evil.
Tommy told him Earth-1 will be enslaved, and everyone Oliver loves will die.
He then dropped his mask and killed himself by eating a cyanide capsule.
Oliver tried to save him after he ate the cyanide, but there was nothing he could do. It was pretty intense to say the least.

Earth’s mightiest heroes – Green Arrow (guest star Stephen Amell), Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), The Flash (guest star Grant Gustin) and White Canary (guest star Caity Lotz) – lead their teams into battle to save the world.
