“Arrow” had a lot to prove after season 4, and the show came back strong in the fall of 2016 when season 5 premiere. Season 5 is considered by many “Arrow” fans to be one of the strongest seasons so far, and a lot of the praise has to do with the season’s big bad, Prometheus.
Prometheus was a villain unlike any other Oliver Queen had faced before, and he played a game that Oliver wasn’t ready to play.
Throughout the first half of the season fans were trying to figure out who was under the mask, and we saw the Prometheus costume quite a few times. But after Prometheus was revealed to be Adrian Chase, he spent most of his time just hiding in plain view.
The Prometheus suit was creepy to say the least, and now artist Andy Poon has released some concept art which shows different versions of the mask. Check it out below.
The alternate looks are definitely intriguing, but there’s no turning back now, and the costume that the showrunners eventually went with did the trick.
Given the way that Adrian Chase made his exit, it seems unlikely that we’ll see him on “Arrow” again in the future, but then again, anything is possible when it comes to comic book shows.
