2016 was a huge year for Marvel Studios. They brought some of their biggest characters together in “Captain America: Civil War” and they also introduced us to some new characters in “Doctor Strange.”
“Doctor Strange” was another hit for Marvel Studios, and it looks like we’ll be seeing more of Stephen Strange in 2017. Disney put together a D23 preview of things they’re looking forward to in 2017, and in the preview it was confirmed that Doctor Strange will appear in “Thor: Ragnarok.” An excerpt from the preview reads as follows:
“If you need even more intergalactic, world-saving action, Thor: Ragnarok in November brings together Thor, the Hulk, and Doctor Strange to face off against intergalactic baddies both familiar and new.”
Although it seemed fairly obvious thanks to the “Doctor Strange” mid-credits scene that we would be seeing more interaction between Thor and Strange in the future, it’s been nothing more than a rumor until now.
With Thor, Hulk and Doctor Strange all confirmed for the film, it should be interesting to see how large Strange’s role really is. We only have to wait another 11 months before we find out for sure.
“Thor: Ragnarok” hits theaters on November 3, 2017.
