“Spider-Gwen” is a pretty fun series for anyone who’s looking for a bit of a different take on the Marvel universe. On Earth-65 Gwen Stacy is Spider-Woman, and Peter Parker is the one who died after he turned himself into the Lizard and things took a turn for the worse.

Fans have been introduced to some exciting new interpretations of characters such as Matt Murdock, Frank Castle, Captain America, Wolverine and others on Earth-65, and many have been wondering if we would ever see a version of Venom. To be fair, with the way the story has been up, it’s been looking more like a matter of “when” rather than “if” for several issues now, and in a few months Marvel will be pulling the trigger.
Matt Murdock recently introduced Gwen Stacy to Elsa Brock, a scientist who then introduced Gwen to the Venom symbiote. The series has been building up to Gwen bonding with the symbiote, and series writer Jason Latour recently shared some concept art showing off the first look at Gwenom.

Even though the storyline is currently developing, it looks like it will come to fruition in September when “Spider-Gwen” #24 is released.
