Marvel is leading the pack when it comes to shared universes on the big screen, as the MCU has been a major success since it launched in 2008.
One of the biggest stars of the MCU is without a doubt Chris Evans who has been playing Captain America for several years now. Fans have praised Chris Evans’ performance as Cap, but Steve Rogers isn’t the first Marvel character that Evans has played on the big screen.
Evans also played Johnny Storm in two Fantastic Four films, and now he has a great idea for a potential Marvel movie.
It was recently reported that Disney is close to acquiring Fox, and if the deal does go down then that means Marvel Studios will finally be able to use the X-Men and the Fantastic Four in the MCU.
Chris Evans commented on the reports, and he also pitched an idea for a Captain America/Human Torch buddy cop movie.
So who do I talk to about a Cap/Human Torch buddy comedy spin-off? I’m thinking Planes, Trains and Automobiles meets Parent Trap. https://t.co/3KRPZOVzq2

Seems like it could be a big hit.
Evans obviously has a good sense of humor, but at this point in time there’s no telling how much longer he’ll be part of the MCU.
It’s been speculated that the MCU could be losing some major characters by the end of “Avengers 4” and Captain America seems to be at the top of the list in regards to who fans think may be leaving.
