The DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” midseason finale aired on the CW this week, and now the show will be taking a little break until February.

Last week during “Crisis On Earth-X” fans were forced to say goodbye to Martin Stein, and this week the other half of Firestorm, Jax, left the Waverider as well. Firestorm has been part of the team since the very beginning, but “Legends of Tomorrow” has always been a show that features a revolving cast of characters.

Luckily after Jax exited the Waverider, another DC character boarded the ship.

After Sara Lance said her goodbyes to Jax, she boarded the ship and turned around to see John Constantine standing in the shadows.

Constantine told Sara that he came across a girl who was possessed, and the girl knew Sara’s name. Then the episode came to a close.

Matt Ryan originally played Constantine in his own standalone series which was cancelled after one season, and he previously joined the “Arrowverse” when he appeared on “Arrow” during one episode in season 4.

It was confirmed a few months ago that John Constantine would be appearing on DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” in season 3, and his timing couldn’t be any better.

During the midseason finale, Sara was transported to what seemed to be some sort of alternate dimension where she spoke to Mollus, the big bad of the season who has been working behind the scenes, and now it seems that the show will be diving deeper into the occult theme.

“Legends” will be on break until February, but when the show returns it looks like we’ll be seeing a lot more of John Constantine.
