Henry Cavill Talks Man Of Steel Getting Mixed Reviews, If Batman V Superman Addresses The Issues

Despite the fact that it earned $668 million dollars at the box office, “Man of Steel” isn’t a film that was loved by everyone. It earned mixed reviews from both fans and critics alike. Henry Cavill acknowledged the mixed reviews while speaking with Cineplex and he also touched on whether or not “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” will address the issues that people had with “Man of Steel.”

“The reception of my first Superman movie, from what I’ve read, was fairly mixed. Everyone I’ve spoken to enjoyed the movie, but [not] unlike if you’re going to meet a stranger in the street, they’re not going to badmouth you to your face. There’s no intentional move, I don’t think, in Batman v. Superman to address any issues that people had with Man of Steel. It’s just a continuation of that storyline and they continue to develop that world and introduce new characters.” Cavill said.

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” will certainly go a long way in expanding the DCEU. The film is set to introduce a new Batman, Wonder Woman, Lex Luthor, Doomsday and many other characters. DC has quite a few movies planned over the next few years but as of right now there’s no solo Superman film on their schedule.
