Henry Cavill made his debut as Superman in “Man of Steel” and it looks like he’ll be playing the character for many years to come. On the big screen Superman has saved many lives, but “Justice League” star Henry Cavill is proving that he’s not just a hero in the movies.

While Henry Cavill was out on the road recently, he found an animal in need so he decided to offer his assistance. Superman came across a turtle in the road that was in danger of being hit by oncoming traffic, so he got out of the car and brought the turtle somewhere safe. Luckily someone managed to capture video footage of the heroic act.
