Guardians Of The Galaxy Confirmed For Avengers: Infinity War According To Vin Diesel

“Avengers: Infinity War” is shaping up to be the biggest Marvel movie of all time, and rumor has it that the movie will have a massive roster of characters. Ever since the film was announced fans have been trying to figure out which characters will be appearing in the movie, and most people assumed that the Guardians of the Galaxy were a given.

According to Vin Diesel who plays Groot, the Guardians have now been confirmed for “Infinity War.” Diesel broke the news during a live chat on Facebook.

“Next year you’ve got Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 coming and that whole concept started from you all saying ‘when are you gonna be in a Marvel movie?’ And you remember the first picture after that Marvel meeting that I had where I was standing [with] the Avengers thing in the back – some of you can look up that picture…there was this old Avengers copy that was behind me in that picture if you look back on my Facebook page you can find that.”

“What’s gonna be surreal is that picture is going to come to pass because now the Guardians will be included in Avengers: Infinity War and that’s incredibly exciting.”

You can put the rumors to rest, the Guardians of the Galaxy will be a part of “Avengers: Infinity War.”

Now we can all go back to trying to figure out who else is in the movie. Squirrel Girl anyone?

“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” will hit theaters on May 5, 2017 and “Avengers: Infinity War” will be released on May 4, 2018.
