This year DC will continue to expand the DCEU with “Wonder Woman” and “Justice League” and next year Aquaman will be breaking out on his own with a standalone film. Jason Momoa is in the lead role and Willem Dafoe has also joined the cast as Nuidis Vulko. Dafoe recently arrived on the set in Australia and you can check out some photos below.

Dafoe certainly isn’t a stranger to comic book movies as he brought the Green Goblin to life in Sam Raimi’s “Spider-Man.” He’s not the only “Spider-Man” alumni to make the jump to DC either as J.K. Simmons joined the cast of “Justice League” as Commissioner Gordon.
“Aquaman” will hit theaters on December 21, 2018.
