Willa Holland Says Losing Laurel Lance On Arrow Felt Like Losing A Limb

“Arrow” season 4 is over and some fans are happier about that than others. The season was full of highs and lows and one of the most emotional moments was without a doubt when Damien Darhk killed the Black Canary, Laurel Lance. Laurel had been an integral part of the show from the beginning and in season 4 Thea Queen and Laurel Lance became closer than they had ever been before.

Both Willa Holland and Katie Cassidy have been with “Arrow” since day one and at MCM Comic Con in London Willa spoke about what it was like to say goodbye to Katie Cassidy and Laurel Lance.

“For the whole Katie Cassidy situation, that was one of the most difficult things that any of us have ever had to film. Not that any of the deaths have ever been easy. We lost Tommy after Season 1; we lost Moira after Season 2. This was four years in. So we were all so close at this point. To the point that more than ever this time it felt like losing a limb.”

Team Arrow certainly fell apart in season 4. Laurel is dead, Thea has left the team, Quentin Lance has left Star City and even Diggle decided to walk away in the season finale. With Oliver and Felicity as the last remaining members of Team Arrow it should be interesting to see what brings the others back into the fold. lla ho
